Blockchain is more than a buzzword...

The dizzying cryptocurrency rollercoaster can easily obscure the transformative potential of blockchain technology. From media to asset management, from retail to real estate, from healthcare to government, blockchain has the potential to dramatically change our economy.

If blockchain’s impact will be far reaching, does New York City, with its diverse economic makeup and its rich technology ecosystem, stand to be a future hub of blockchain technology and development? Or is blockchain overhyped and relegated to the theoretical?

We’ve gathered experts across venture capital, government, healthcare, media and more to discuss blockchain’s potential role in changing our economy and what that means for New York City.
